Rumor has it....

We have recently received numerous emails inquiring if I, Jason, have left the group. This rumor could not be further from the truth.

Not only have I not left, but I have never been happier with the state of the band. Everyone in EAS is having more fun than ever and

playing the best music that the band has ever put out. EAS is stronger, tighter and happier than it ever has been in the history of the group.

So, for those who are wondering....No.....Jason has not left EAS and honestly never plans to.

Onward and upward.....

THE NEW ALBUM AND DVD A HUGE HIT......

EAS sold over 30 CD's and 15 DVD's in their product debut at the Windsor Elvis Festival. EAS only sold the product the last two days

of the three but people were lined up to purchase both items. Thanks SO much to Ellen, Shelly ("was I talking to you?"), George and the

whole festival staff for supporting our release and playing the cd in the theater the whole weekend.  EAS has already been asked back

for 2009! This fest is not only one of the top festivals in North America but is one of the fests EAS looks forward to the most.

Thanks to everyone who bought a CD or DVD to help save Quackers the one legged duck.

We should have enough money now to get him his prosthetic leg so he no longer swims in circles.

EAS is the official band of the 2008 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest presented by Elvis Presley Enterprises, for the 2nd straight year! The new and improved EAS will be performing during Elvis Week in Memphis once again! More detailed information will be posted here as it becomes available.

The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest is Back

During Elvis Week 2007, EPE introduced the first-time event, the 2007 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. Twenty-four of the best tribute artists from around the world traveled to Memphis to compete during the event for the title of Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist of 2007, where Shawn Klush of Pennsylvania was announced as the winner.

EPE is bringing the contest back again in 2008 and once again looking for the Elvis tribute artist that "best represents the legacy of Elvis Presley." Tribute artists will receive the opportunity to compete in preliminary rounds of the competition in various locations around the world for their chance to win a spot in the semi-finals that will take place in Memphis during Elvis Week 2008 in August. Due to popular demand, all contestants will be, once again, backed by the EAS Band out of Chicago, IL.

Tickets for the semifinals and finals round of the contest during Elvis Week are only available in a set that includes one ticket to the semifinals on August 13 and one ticket to the finals on August 14. Platinum package seating for the event is $140.00 and includes a special Meet ‘n’ Greet with the semifinalists. Gold package seating is $80.00. Silver package seating is $50.00. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster starting on March 17 for Elvis Insiders and March 24 for the general public.

2.27.08 - EAS has accepted an invitation to be the official band for the Harrah's Cherokee Casino Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Prelim Contest in Cherokee, NC July 26th, 2008.

Located in the beautiful Smokey Mountains,  you'll be enchanted as you walk among the wildflowers and waterfalls. The inviting homeland of the Cherokee Indians is nestled at the edge of the National Park and presents you with some of the most fantastic trout fishing, hiking and sightseeing in America.

EAS will perform for the finals of the contest backing the top 5 ETA's from the day before.
